I am an oil painter who loves to paint in the studio but 

especially "en plein air" (outdoors) from life by the ala prima method 

whenever possible.  I've been called a "Pacific Colorist" by some, 

drawing color inspiration from these magnificent Hawaiian islands and 

elsewhere during frequent travel.  I hope that my enthusiasm and 

passion for my subjects conveys visually in every painting.  

Above all I want viewers like you to sense the sheer joy and fun 

I experienced during the creative process.
