This collection contains mostly Hawai'i inspired works. Many are plein air beachscapes reflecting my love of painting on or near the shore.

This collection of original oil and acrylic non-representational paintings is a marked departure from my usual subject mater, but it still gives voice to my artistic vision as "a Pacific Colorist." You will find larger gallery wrapped oil paintings where the image is painted around the edges, as well as small matted original "Mosaic Minis", some framed. Each painting is unique; each one special.

Welcome to a special collection of oil paintings depicting the old mining and ski town of Park City, Utah, the surrounding mountains and valleys, and the magnificent natural wonders of the cliffs and canyons of southern Utah. The snow-covered mountain terrain and vast farmlands hold a special allure for me as an artist and my husband and I have a second home there and enjoy skiing and hiking.

This subject is my special muse. I have always been inspired by this theme so representative of Hawaii, and I find myself returning to it again and again. I have witnessed many changes since first moving here in 1969. Sadly, the Hawaiian landscape I truly love is losing it's wonderful, distinctive vistas of 8-foot-tall fields of waving sugar cane and verdant pineapple fields of green and gold. I want to capture as much of this history as I can on canvas for future generations to see and enjoy.

This collection of paintings was inspired by two trips to Europe six years apart.
I began each journey thoroughly believing that I would be painting the landscape,
my usual focus. Instead, I became more fascinated by stories imagined about
the people en route along with their surroundings.
I decided to take a risk on this theme and try something new because it is essential
as an artist to surprise, offer fresh viewpointsand stay challenged. I have purposely
tried to keep these paintings loose, a bit unfinished and impressionistic to let you,
the viewer, fill in the blanks. I hope you enjoy this new collection as much as
I enjoyed painting each and every one!

They are reproduced with inks that are rated for 80 years. Each is hand-signed and numbered and comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity. (For sizes and prices, please refer to the "Giclees" link)
