Chun’s Reef, Winter time, a big swell, and surfing, all describe Oahu's North Shore and on just such a day, this was the scene I challenged myself to paint on location. Pounding waves and howling tradewinds meant I had to paint extrememely quickly to capture the essence of the moment, almost getting my
feet wet in the process!
