The scene of this painting is famous
Waimea Bay on Oahu's North Shore.
It is early in the morning on a big surf day.
I was attracted by the contrast of the
shimmering silver sand and the incredible
force of monster waves crashing over and onto
the rocks including "Jump Off Rock"
seen on the right side of the painting..
